I aim to be whatever's left in terms of what is given,

Which is to say I aim to be all the things unwanted.

I wish that I could always be what is bound to liven

Everything and everyone, despite the life that's haunted.

I aim to be what is and what always will be.

I aim to please, I aim to "jeez"; I aim to be disputed.

I wish I could be what no man can flee and never see,

I wish I was, I wish I will, I wish I were reputed.

I aim to be a breathtaker, I aim to take your breath.

That is; I aim to be a glowing eye, I aim to be your Death.

Towards the end there was a nice, almost positive inflection, then you killed it mercilessly.
