The body drained
The mind a ruin
The world is shot
As I lay here
Staring at the clouds.
To bleed to death;

The body beside me

As I walk here
The stars are twinkling.

I will make it.

I drag away
The trail of blood
It follows me
Mocking me
But I will make it
If only til dawn
As I close my eyes,
The stars go out.
Lying, bleeding,
And I have died.
