A LifeIt feels like it's been a while,    stuck inside this same old style      wishing for what was never going        to be.   
As the moon up ahead faded way too soon    I felt the people as they slowly left the room.   
Her hopes and dreams were out of touch,    her life hadn't gotten near enough,      her beauty was just something new        to me.

It only makes it worse.   
I'll be giving what I've been given  And taking what has been taken.  This job I do when I write with my mind.  Gives me satisfaction through the work and the grind.   
If only I could have been serious  Everyone that gathered round would be delirious,  And the time that I spent on this earth,  Wouldn't be worth the time I spent in a hearse.   
Maybe I'm crazy, who knows?  I got to write whatever flows.  Maybe I'm right, who cares?  I'm just selling my gilded wares.

A Simple MoonIt is falling, it is the night, whether it is wrong or  Whether it feels right. Over the hills comes the light  Which warms our hearts inspite of strifes.  The man within smiles at us, he has believed in us all along.   
The indian stands upon his ground and faces the dawn  While the coyote laughs in the hills below, beckoning  The spider who grins with delight, for the moon is theirs  This very night, though the indian stands and the moonman smiles.   
The souls lift off from the ground and spin  Toward the restful sphere on a restless sky.  As they rise to meet the makers they danc A Simple Moon

The Door of DuskStand where you are and face the west.  It is there the sun will set, it is there the night  Takes but a little longer to appear. The day  Has come and gone and taken you with it.   
It has swept you through the world as you shape it.  Have you shaped it well, was it worth it? Did you  See the works of others and look upon them with hope?  Are you satisfied with what you did today? Happy?   
No matter what you did, how you did, it was not  All for naught. Your actions, your dreams, have shaped it,  Have shaken it, have moved it, the world was yours,  What you did with it is what The Door of Dusk
